Thank you very much for the comment and fav listing on The Grudge. I am truly honored that I got such a reaction out of you. I try to elicit a gut reaction with my artwork a lot of the time, whether it's revulsion or whatever.

I'm sorry to hear about your recent breakup and the anger you felt. If a person lives long enough, almost all of us go through it, unfortunately. I was in a two year relationship back in my early days of college and my girlfriend cheated on me with my "friend" who also happened to be my suitemate, so when they started going out I could hear them having sex through the wall...talk about one's own exquisite form of Hell.

Anyway, because of that and a few very horrible things that happened to me during my childhood, I used to be very angry towards women and had a hard time trusting them. I even bordered on a secret loathing of them, a sort of misogyny. If you want to see an example of how I felt, check out the drawing in my gallery called Conceit...it deals with revulsion and selfish women, and I drew it about 4 or 5 years ago. After a while though, I realized it was pointless to hold so much rage inside...so all of the women who ever hurt me in my life, I forgave them, most of them to their face, and it made things feel a lot better inside, also, I had started going out with my then girlfriend, now wife, and she's just wonderful and I've always trusted her.

So, again, I'm sorry for your hurt. What you wrote in your comment was probably one of the best and most heartfelt and meaningful things anyone has ever said about my artwork. I'm glad it helped you on some level.
